The Design Edit

The Design Edit is a virtual interior design service designed to help you work through the decisions you're struggling with and understand how to bring your space together. We'll spend two hours working collaboratively through your room, your ideas and the areas you'd like guidance on. I'll help you consider what you already have, what could be changed and where thoughtful additions could make the biggest difference.

The Design Edit is a practical and personal way to work with A Design Inc without committing to a full interior design service. Sometimes a room doesn't need a complete redesign. It simply needs a fresh perspective and a clear design direction.

Philadelphia - Sophisticated Complete Apartment
Philadelphia - Sophisticated Complete Apartment

Working remotely with a family in Philadelphia, the aim was to create a welcoming and tranquil apartment with a strong connection to nature. The design balances the practical needs of everyday family life with a calm and considered aesthetic. Dusty rose and vibrant green were layered throughout to introduce warmth, comfort and a touch of nature, complemented by light wood to create cohesion and a sense of grounding. Brass accents add warmth and a refined finish to the overall scheme.

A complete transformation of an apartment to create a feminine yet functional space, balancing relaxation with a sense of fun. Pink and green were selected as the key accent colours, layered throughout the hallway, bedroom and living room to create a cohesive scheme whilst keeping the overall look minimal. Soft furnishings, accessories and wall art introduce the colours, with brass accents adding warmth and complementing the furniture.

Walnut introduces natural elements and texture, bringing depth and character to the space, whilst enhancing the overall sense of warmth and tranquillity.

  • “I can’t thank you enough, Aamirah! I am absolutely in LOVE with my new flat — you completely nailed the brief. After the year I’d had, I desperately wanted somewhere safe and beautiful to retreat to, and you’ve created exactly that. I now love coming home every day. You’ve transformed not just my space, but my whole life when I needed it most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

    Stephanie, London

  • Working with Aamirah has been an absolute joy! She took my vision, even when I struggled to articulate it, and brought it to life in ways I could never have imagined. She has an incredible ability to create spaces that are both beautiful and practical, ensuring every detail not only looks stunning but works perfectly for my family’s needs. The entire process was fun, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and intuitive designer!

  • Aamirah helped us with a modern beautiful colour rich design that we are thoroughly over the moon with. I cannot recommend this service highly enough as it takes so much of the hard work out of the process and leaves the fun exciting bits.
